Silence on Sunday

I haven’t been on here for almost a month now….ugh….but honestly I just didn’t want to add to the chatter…..I didn’t want to add to ALL the conflicting info on the virus that has become so big that it is THE only thing everyone is talking about and….arguing about!

Whether it is about the face-mask…..the stay-at-home orders….the social distancing….and so much more!

One thing I do know is I don’t want to be among those telling other’s what is right or wrong….what they should or shouldn’t be doing….

What I will say is that this blog will remain true to the spirit of it is about MY LIFE AND HEALTH JOURNEY…..and what I AM DOING to support myself and how I am handling things…..

Because that is the compassionate, loving, and most graceful way to share and soften hearts about anything!

I have seen simple posts on people’s Facebook pages go from sharing info about something they are feeling passionate about…..to it turning into mud-slinging…..and that’s not healthy or helpful for ANYONE….

I do have some personal stories I am going to share in a later post….stories about how the coronavirus has been impacting my family and our life…..and my own journey…..but it will never be me telling you what you should or shouldn’t be doing….

What I will encourage you today to do is…stop and smell the air, the flowers, the beauty of what God has given us!

Stop and reflect on who is the creator of chaos and confusion?  NOT GOD!

Once we understand this simple truth….then what is truly simpler is when you find yourself arguing about a point of view so intently are you sharing love and hope with them or are you helping the enemy create division and destruction?!

Today stop and meet someone where they are at in this journey of life and love them where they are at rather than trying to force or bully them to see your point of view!

One final thought….my darling daughter shared a while back how her homeschool group was discussing events and wars in history.

They were asked by the leader what they thought was the number one cause of war.

She responded under her breath: men.

How right was she?  What she meant by it was that because of hate, pride, greed, ego….ie our fallen-ness…..WE are the cause of war!

But you know what…..the solution is right in front of us…..

Because this is one of the fundamental key things that amazing and great leaders teach…..which is if we are the cause of our problem…..WE ARE ALSO THE SOLUTION!

Today be the solution:

share and spread LOVE HOPE AND HEALING!

As always….sit….pray….journal…..tap and oil up as you reflect on these words and on your day!

Many hugs, blessings, and prayers,

Kelly 😉
